Hi, I’m Matthew Pavli. I started Search Hog in 2015.
Search Hog is a UK SEO, PPC and AEO/GEO consultancy. I run it as a solo practice, working directly with around 10 clients at any one time, and bringing in a trusted network of specialists for the work I don’t personally deliver – copywriting, design, PR, link-building and development.
I’ve been doing SEO professionally since 2012, a lifetime in the ever-changing world of SEO! I’m certified as a Google Partner, meaning I have completed all the latest accreditations in the world of search marketing . Based in Cornwall, I work remotely with clients across the UK (and further afireld!)
By keeping my number of clients small I have a more personal approach than an agency, creating long-lasting business relationships that typically last 2+ years.

Why Use Search Hog?
Direct access, no account managers. When you hire Search Hog, the person writing the audit is the person executing the campaign. I don’t sub the work to juniors. If a project genuinely needs more hands than I have, a Black Friday rush for an ecommerce client, a multi-region site migration, a content scale-up, I bring in a small network of vetted specialists who I’ve worked with for years. They work under my direction and you’d know exactly who they are.
One client per industry, per locale. I don’t take on two competing brands. If I’m working with a plumber in Dublin, I won’t take on a second one. If I’m running paid search for a wedding planner in Cornwall, your Cornwall wedding planner needs to find someone else. This rule loses me business, but it’s how the work stays good.
30-day rolling contracts. No 12-month lock-ins. If we’re not the right fit a month in, you can leave. I’d rather lose a client at month one than be the agency they regret hiring at month nine.
