Our Specialties

Ecommerce PPC isn’t just about switching on some ads and hoping for the best. Done properly, it’s a constantly evolving process of testing, refining and improving. Here’s what’s included when you work with us:

Keyword Research

Knowing which keywords to target is one thing. Knowing which ones to exclude is equally important. We carry out thorough keyword research to identify the search terms most likely to bring in buyers, and we build out negative keyword lists to stop your budget being eaten up by irrelevant traffic. Less waste, more sales.

Bid Setting

There’s a real art to bidding well on Google Ads. Too low and you miss out on traffic. Too high and you eat into your margins. We manage your bids to keep you competitive without overspending, using a mix of smart bidding strategies and manual oversight to make sure your budget is always working as hard as it can.

Search Ads for Ecommerce

Sometimes a customer knows exactly what they want and types it straight into Google. We make sure your ads show up for those high-intent searches, with ad copy that speaks to what they’re looking for and landing pages that convert.

Google Shopping Campaigns

For most ecommerce businesses, Google Shopping is where the money is made. We set up and manage Product Listing Ads that show your products at the top of Google search results, complete with images, prices and your store name. We optimise your product feed on Merchant Center, structure your campaigns to focus spend on your best-performing products, and continually optimise to ensure best performance.

Monitoring & Tweaking

There’s a real art to bidding well on Google Ads. Too low and you miss out on traffic. Too high and you eat into your margins. We manage your bids to keep you competitive without overspending, using a mix of smart bidding strategies and manual oversight to make sure your budget is always working as hard as it can.

Ecommerce PPC Reporting

We don’t hide behind confusing dashboards. Every month you’ll get a straight-talking report that tells you what’s working, what we’ve changed and what’s coming next. We track the numbers that actually matter - revenue, return on ad spend (ROAS) and cost per acquisition - so you can see exactly what your investment is delivering.

Ecommerce PPC Agency FAQs

What exactly is Ecommerce PPC?

Ecommerce PPC (pay-per-click) is a form of paid online advertising designed specifically for online retailers. You pay only when someone clicks your ad, and the goal is to drive shoppers to your product pages and convert them into customers.

The most common platform is Google Ads, which includes both search ads and Google Shopping campaigns. When managed well, ecommerce PPC is one of the fastest and most measurable ways to drive revenue for an online store.

How is ecommerce PPC different from regular PPC?

Ecommerce PPC involves a few things that general PPC doesn’t. Google Shopping campaigns, for instance, require a well-structured product feed – essentially a data file Google uses to match your products to relevant searches.

There’s also more emphasis on ROAS (return on ad spend) and profitability at a product level, as well as the need to manage large numbers of products and categories efficiently. It’s a more complex discipline than running ads for a single service, which is why it helps to work with a specialist ecommerce PPC company.

Do you manage Shopify PPC?

Yes. We’re Shopify Partners and have extensive experience running Google Ads for Shopify stores. We understand how the platform works, how to connect your product feed properly, and how to get the most out of Google Shopping for Shopify merchants. If you’re running a Shopify store and looking for a Shopify PPC agency, we’d love to hear from you.

Where are you Based?

We are a UK-based ecommerce PPC agency meaning you have direct access to our expertise.

How much does Ecommerce PPC Management Cost?

Our management fees are based on your account spend and how complex your campaigns are.

You can find our current pricing on our PPC management pricing page, with prices for ecommerce management starting at £385+VAT per month. Your ad spend (the amount you pay directly to Google) is separate from our fee. We’ll always be upfront about what’s involved and what you can realistically expect in return.

What is the Minimum Contract Term?

We work on rolling 30-day contracts. There’s no long tie-in period and you can cancel with a month’s notice. We believe in building long-term partnerships by delivering results, not by locking clients in.

How quickly will I see results?

One of the great things about PPC is speed – unlike ecommerce SEO, you can start seeing traffic and sales within days of launching a campaign. That said, the best results come with time.

The first few weeks are often about gathering data and making initial optimisations. After that, performance typically improves steadily as we refine targeting, bids and creative.

Can you take over my existing Google Ads account?

Absolutely. In fact, it’s one of the most common situations we deal with. We’ll carry out a thorough audit of your existing account to identify what’s working, what’s wasting budget and what can be improved. From there, we’ll put together a clear plan and get to work.

Should I be using Performance Max for my ecommerce store?

Probably, yes – if your account spend is over a certain threshold. Performance Max is Google’s AI-driven campaign type that shows ads across every Google channel from a single campaign: Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Gmail and Maps. For ecommerce, it’s particularly powerful because it can surface your products wherever a potential buyer happens to be.

That said, it’s not a silver bullet. We’ve seen plenty of Performance Max campaigns that are burning through budget without delivering real results, often because they’re misconfigured, lack strong creative assets, or aren’t being given the right conversion signals. The campaigns that work well are the ones that are set up carefully, fed good data and monitored closely. We treat P.Max as one part of a broader paid search strategy rather than a replacement for everything else.

Do you run Microsoft Ads as well as Google Ads?

Yes. While Google Ads is usually where ecommerce businesses start, Microsoft Ads (formerly Bing Ads) can be a worthwhile addition depending on your products and audience. Bing shoppers tend to skew slightly older and often have higher disposable incomes, which can work in your favour for certain product categories – and because fewer ecommerce retailers bother with Microsoft Ads, competition is lower and cost-per-click is often cheaper.

We can manage Microsoft Ads alongside your Google campaigns to give you wider reach without a lot of extra complexity. It’s not right for every store, but it’s worth a conversation – we’ll give you an honest steer on whether it makes sense for your business.
