Your Ecommerce Accountant are a specialist accountancy firm that manage the finances for ecommerce companies.

They came to Search Hog when they wanted to ramp up their visibility online, which was practically zero when we started.

One of the main issues was the current website design did not reflect their current service offering and the branding was outdated, so a complete rebrand with a new site redesign was required.

As well as the new site design, Search Hog were tasked with achieving top 4 rankings for their main target keywords.

This was an exciting project as we were given almost 100% control over the site and its direction. By redeveloping the site with SEO best practice in mind we were able to achieve much faster results than working with a pre-existing site that has technical issues.

This allowed us to achieve some excellent results in a short timescale (12 months from launch) by moving straight into content marketing tactics, and meant we understood the ins and outs of the website from the outset.

We looked at a combined on and off-site strategy, creating quality on-site blog content as well as building links from authoritative domains related to their industry.

Thanks to the new site and targeted content marketing strategy, the client saw a large uplift on their main target keywords, with #2 ranking for the vital term ‘ecommerce accountants’, as well as top 4 rankings for important terms such as ‘amazon accountant’, ‘ebay accountant’ and ‘shopify accountants’.

These increases on target keywords meant their organic website traffic increased by around 500% from September 2021 to June 2022. This increase in traffic led to a huge jump in enquiries for the business, cementing their position as one of the top names in the industry.
